I am passionate about singing and languages; I speak six languages, and my purpose is to communicate and promote the integration of cultures and ethnicities.

About

I was born in Fort Nelson, British Columbia, to an Irish mother from Tralee and a German father, and I grew up in the magical town of Tepoztlán, Mexico, where I completed my early education.

My professional journey in music began at the Escuela Nacional de Música (UNAM) in Mexico City. Drawn by a deep fascination with early music, I later moved to Europe, where I studied voice with Mary Nichols and Renaissance lute with Nigel North at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. I continued my studies at the Hochschule für Musik Trossingen in Germany with Richard Wistreich (voice) and Rolf Lislevand (lute), and finally at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland with Ulrich Messthaler (voice) and Peter Croton (lute). Throughout these years and beyond, I have had the privilege of working with remarkable musicians whose artistry has deeply shaped my musical voice and the way I perform.

A transformative experience working with street children in Guatemala profoundly influenced my artistic path. Since then, it has become essential for me to give voice to social realities through my music. I work with both children and adults, encouraging greater awareness of individual potential and responsibility. I have written over 200 songs, many developed as part of thematic projects addressing mental health, domestic violence, social integration, immigration, and the lived experiences of street youth and survivors of human trafficking. For me, music is more than art—it is a vessel for expression, connection, and compassion.

Some projects are more than just work—they become part of who we are. Over the years, I have had the privilege of creating and participating in initiatives that bring together music, language, and human connection.

At the heart of my work is a deep belief that art can transform lives. Whether through singing, teaching, or collaborative social projects, each experience has been an opportunity to build bridges between people, cultures, and voices.

One of my most meaningful areas of work is the integration of individuals through music. Through choral singing and creative expression, I have worked with diverse communities, supporting social and professional integration, especially in the field of mental health. These projects are not only about performance—they are about belonging, confidence, and shared humanity.

As a composer and songwriter, I have also developed original repertoire inspired by these experiences. Each piece reflects real stories, emotions, and voices that deserve to be heard. Music, in this context, becomes both a creative and social tool—one that gives space to those often unheard.

Alongside my musical work, my passion for languages has allowed me to connect with people from different backgrounds, creating learning environments where communication becomes a path to understanding and empowerment.
